Foad Wax
FOAD WAX is our signature moustache wax, lovingly home made and hand poured. It is naturally coloured by the high presence of Pollen and Propolis in the pure British Beeswax. Foad Wax has a light, herbaceous signature scent derived from our own blend of natural essential oils.
Foad Wax is considered to be a 'medium to firm wax' and therefore has a medium to strong hold. Because of it's consistency, I recommend the use of a hairdryer and a moustache comb to obtain optimum distribution. Please note that due to Beeswax being a natural product, a slight colour and consistency difference may occur from batch to batch.
Use Foad Wax to tame and tidy your moustache or beard, or go to town and wax it to the moon and back! It's all good! Foad Wax comes in a handy pocket sized, lightweight and durable screwtop 1/2 Oz - 15ml (approx) tin.

Toad Satin Wax Foad's Toad Satin Wax is our Vegan pomade style moustache and beard wax suitable for everyday use. It has a loose to medium hold and a satin sheen finish. It can be used alone for groomed, neater facial hair, endowing your face fuzz with a natural flowing look. However it can also be used in conjunction with Foad Wax to aid its distribution, and create your own unique mix and level of hold for a more styled look.
Toad Satin Wax contains Jojoba Wax, Castor Oil, Grapeseed Oil, and a zesty blend of natural essential oils. Jojoba Wax, derived from the Jojoba plant seed, is a natural moisturiser and smooths out the hair cuticles making them shiny and healthy looking. Castor Oil is a natural humectant drawing moisture into the hair leaving it soft, shiny and strong. The Grapeseed Oil is also a moisturising agent and provides the satin sheen.
These properties make this wax very easy to warm up and apply without the use of a hairdryer. It is gentler on your hirsute appendages, eliminating the risk of pulling out hairs. Because of its nourishing properties and easy application, it can be used readily as a beard wax to keep you gurn garden prim and proper. And why stop there? Why not try it in your hair!

Foad's Silky Hare Oil ©
I'm going to cut straight to the chase. My head hair is thick, which is good. But it's SO dry, which both from a styling and health perspective is bad.
To make matters worse, after a shower it has a wonderful tendency to fluff up, look like straw, feel coarse, and be completely void of moisture. I tend to resemble one of those painful dancers that can be seen jostling awkwardly in crowds during 'live' performances on TOTP2. My beard suffers similarly, due to the stresses and day to day hardships we all have to face in this modern life we live, dry skin can develop beneath our facial hair, which has been rather eloquently coined as "Beardruff"
Well no more!
Foad's Silky Hare Oil © is the force I call upon to defeat such terrors. Foad's Silky Hare Oil is our all-natural, vegan, conditioning oil treatment for skin, head and facial hair. My Fiance and I have naturally put a lot of effort into researching all avenues of cosmetic ingredients that are kind to the skin. I wanted to avoid any use of silicones, which just coat the hair shaft in a slick film giving the illusion of soft silky hair.
Foad's Silky Hare Oil © contains the fantastic Broccoli seed oil, cold pressed from the seeds of Brassica oleraceae. Rich in vitamins A and C, the oil has a light consistency and penetrates the skin and hair easily. Resulting in a natural glow to the skin and a cuticle-smoothing luster on the hair. Broccoli seed oil has been shown to perform as well as cosmetic silicones such as Cyclomethicone, and therefore is considered the natural alternative.
Foad's Silky Hare Oil © contains Olive Squalane, which is a high purity vegetable lipid obtained from Olives. It permeates the skin quickly and helps it to retain its own natural oils while imparting relief to dehydrated, and ultra-sensitive, skin.
The Rice Bran Oil we use is cold pressed from the inner husk, as well as the germ, of Oryza sativa rice. Rice Bran Oil offers hydration and softness, without weighing the hair down. Calendula Oil is a powerhouse of skin soothing abilities. The extract of Calendula is well known for its ability to treat dry, irritated, or stressed skin. Foad's Silky Hare Oil © is lightly scented with Juniper essential oil for an uplifting spicy kick!

Foad's Silky Hare Oil © used as a hair oil and beard oil, makes it easier to comb through even the densest of hair growth. But key to its appeal, especially for me, is that it helps relieve the itchy dry skin feeling and makes my hair feel like hair should be, i.e naturally soft. The problem with products that contain the aforementioned silicones as their primary ingredient is that the coating that they create is not improving the health of your hair. There is nothing weirder for me than running my hands through someone's hair and having it glide through with a worrying sensation like sliding on a newly polished floor in your socks. There is something unnatural and alien about having hair that feels synthetic, not only this but it clan also look over treated which I am not a fan of.
It may also be of interest that Foad's Silky Hare Oil © when used as a beard oil and hair oil, works beautifully as a before and after swimming treatment as it's a saviour from the harshness of the chlorine.

Let it be known that nothing does hair more good than simply eating right, getting your vitamins and trying not to get too stressed. If you're healthy on the inside, it tends to show on the outside. I make no claims that this is some cheesy miracle wonder oil, excreted by a golden deity and bottled by winged cherubs. It works for me, it's worked for those who have tried it and I hope it will work for you too.
Foad's Silky Hare Oil © comes in a handy pocket sized, 12ml amber glass bottle with a tamper proof cap. Use 2-3 times a week

DISCLAIMER: We feel it important to mention that although beloved by Mr. Foad these are first and foremost a novelty item and should be regarded as such. They work perfectly well as a comb, for both moustache and beard, but the spring action can be delicate. We make no claims as to their sturdiness BUT they look really cool and make a refreshing change to the drab 'traditional' gentlemen's comb. We are sorry to say that we at Foad Wax can and will not accept responsibility for the combs due to the fact that we do not manufacture them ourselves.'
